HYE nv – Steel construction for complex infrastructure
HYE nv is a Belgian contractor with almost 100 years of experience in hydraulic engineering and infrastructure projects in Belgium and the Netherlands. The company specialises in heavy and complex steel structures, mainly for applications on and around water.
Within HYE Staalconstructie, steel projects are carried out in their entirety, from engineering and 3D modelling to production, transport and assembly. Typical projects include (movable) bridges, pontoons and jetties, locks and weirs, foundation and support structures, hoisting equipment and customised constructions.
HYE has its own modern steel workshop with direct access to the Scheldt, equipped for the production of large structural components. The workshop is equipped with overhead cranes up to 50 tonnes, CNC-controlled cutting and drilling installations and extensive hoisting and transport equipment. The company works to the strictest quality standards and is certified to EN 1090 EXC4, ISO 9001, with full traceability and CE marking. With more than 160 employees and an integrated approach, HYE combines engineering, steel production and execution within a single organisation.
